Are You a Creator on Purpose?

I was inspired to write this article after reflecting on the teachings of “The Secret.” If you're not familiar with its teachings, they simply state that the power to create lies in ones own mind. What you put your attention on is what you will bring about. If you focus on negative outcomes you will continue to manifest negative happenings; and the opposite being true as well.

This is an exciting topic. We pretty much know factually and scientifically now that the mind is an extraordinary power, it has the ability to create in the non-physical and manifest into the 3D physical world. This understanding alone, can be life changing.

I want to address some concerns I have about how people are going about creating their lives using the secret. First understand, I believe that the awareness this movie and book has brought into our conscious society is profound and needed. My concern, is that those who do understand it, don't end up in a box limiting themselves from obtaining a more pure and meaningful understanding of this universal law, the Law of Attraction.

I see people all over the web and in person trying desperately to manifest a million dollar home along with a high paying job or career. Many of whom are becoming frustrated because what they are trying to create is simply not manifesting. Even when there seems to be no progress physically or internally, then continue with the same understanding that all they have to do is put enough thought energy into what they desire and it will magically come true.

I would imagine, that over time we will continue to see people who have been practicing these same teachings and still after 10 years have not manifested their desires. Is this simply the universe taking its time, or have we missed a key element the universe is crying out for.

Perspective of the Universe:

Let's put ourselves in the Universe's shoes for a while and try and see how it sees us. The universe sees you as a reflection of itself, simply because you are at deep level beyond the ego. The universe sees your Ego as a rampant out of control 2 year old who refuses to believe in the law of gravity; meaning, it sees your ego as something living in a nightmare of false hopes and illusions of grandeur or separation.

The Universe is a system working on the principle of “give and receive” being one and the same. This is a vital understanding to have. If you look around at nature, you can see the answer as to why you're not manifesting what you desire. This is something that I have begun to understand within the past year and it has made a 'beyond significant' impact in my creation process.

What is it about the workings of nature that are so profound? Giving and receiving, are two sides of the same coin; the coin is one, not separated from its other side. There is a flow in life that says, when I give I receive, and when I receive I give.

Here is a great Example:

Look at the life of a flower. I flower is born when another life force breaths existence into a tiny seed. This flower and life force have an understanding of what's going to take place. The life force says, “you are about to enter a creative world, you will serve a high purpose for the good of all life. If you withhold your goodness, your creative power will naturally be withheld from you.” The flower says, “I accept this beautiful opportunity, and understand completely that my entrance into this world has a purpose that expands the goodness I enter in to.

Do you see the cooperation between the flower and the universe? Can you begin to understand why a flower does what it does.

The Flower's Ego?

Imagine for a moment, the flower says to the Universe. “Hey guy up there, you know, I'm kinda into doing my own thing and really don't find it necessary that I spend my time creating pollen for these bees any more. And another thing, I think I've created enough little seeds and I'm all done doing that nonsense as well. I just want some more sunshine, can you make that happen please. Oh yeah, could you also put some more fertilizer down, I'm kinda hungry.”

Can you see the complete insanity of the flower. Why would the Universe give more sunlight if the flower had no intention of creating pollen for the bees, why would the Universe provide more nutrients if the flower had decided it wanted to stop creating more flowers? If the flower decides it is separate, then the flower separates its self from the source, ultimately cutting off the flow of goodness and power.

This is the insanity of the Ego. Many of us are trying to create a magnificent life, but the desires come from a place of complete separation. We're saying to the universe, “Um yeah, here's what I want and I'm not planning on giving anything back in return.”

The Ultimate Plan:

Like the flower, each one of us has a unique design to add more value to the life around us. That is simply the design of nature. We were not born into this world so we can selfishly “get ours” and screw everyone and everything else. Doing so, says I am separate from everyone and everything around me. With this mentality, it creates a painful and empty existence that many, many, many people experience today.

The Ultimate Plan for everyone is to use their gifts, talents, and desires to give back to the same life forces that has allowed them to breath on this planet. Are we really going to be so selfish and just expect this force to just hand over anything we desire, and get pissed off if it doesn't?

We need to realize the context of our existence and truly see why it is we are here. I'm telling you, it is not to just live and die, and in between make a million. There is something within you trying to be discovered, an infinite soul trying to rise above the ego so you can hear its voice.

The Real Desire:

If you go back to the flower, think for a moment of the flower's true desire. Its desire, is to live out its purpose and to play a meaningful role while it exists on earth. Really, take the time to understand this. The flower sees its desire as purpose driven, with the purpose being that to give back to the same force that created it.

When a flower has a desire, the desire is beyond description. It cannot be described as pollen or nutrients, those are the physical manifestations of the desire, but not the true desire. The desire of the flower at its core is to make a meaningful impact with the world around it. Consequently, the desire is received by the universe and acknowledged because the desire is in alignment with oneness, with a belief that says, “I am connected to all things, giving to the earth gives back to myself. (filling any void I may be experiencing)”

If we to honestly take a look at our desires, those things we are trying to manifest, what does it say about our relationship with mankind and our world. Does it say “screw you and gimme mine.” Or is it something more in alignment with oneness, saying “This is my desire because it will help me to create a more meaningful world and serve the highest good of mankind.” I'm telling you!!! If you can create desires that are more aligned with who you truly are, your world will change with a quickness. An attitude of oneness says to the universe, “I'm on your page man, hook me up!” :)

The universe will move oceans if your aligned with its common purpose. The higher you are connected with your true self, the stronger your connection will be to this creative power.

Value:

A lot of people have deluded themselves with the teachings of the secret, believing if they think about a million dollars long enough, then it will magically appear in their basement freezer. The universe doesn't work this way.

It's a value based system that says, to get out – you must put in. You must understand that the universe is a system based in oneness. That is it's only rule, to see all things as connected, to recognize yourself in all things. If you desire a million dollars, you must create a million dollars worth of value with the universe, in the context of what's sociably understood as that much value. The universe is looking for action and not just thought. We can't meditate happy thoughts 40 hours a week and expect ten grand the following Friday.

It's the action behind your desires that will move the universe, in combination with the intent. You must find a way to create equal or greater (I prefer greater) value than what you wish to receive. This value is something that is recognized by society, since society is going to play a role in your receiving. I don't know if this message has been printed anymore clearer than in all the philosophical teachings, which say, give and you shall receive; treat others as you wish to be treated (oneness).

Your Manifestation:

Imperative, is the word I will use to describe the importance of reexamining what it is we are trying to manifest. Being on Purpose, means that the things we desire in life, has something to do with us furthering the goodness and healing of life. If we desire something, just because we think it is cool and other people will be impressed by us, then it will be a challenge to manifest if at all, and to me just a waste of time. Even when you do create it, if you do, you'll soon realize it has no meaning. The meaning you thought it would have just turned out to be another illusions, leading you down the dark hole of void significance.

We need to find the purpose behind the desires. The purpose is what's real, not the 3D illusion of it. Get deep within yourself and create desires that are more in alignment with oneness and who you truly are. Ask for and create desires that make this world a better place. Asking for a cooperate job making 250k a year simply has no meaning. The universe hears that and sees it as a two year old asking for a weather balloon.

As you refocus your desires, here are some things to keep in mind:

• Does this desire help anyone beyond my ego self.?

• Does this desire move me closer to oneness, or does it create more separation?

• Does this desire serve the highest good of mankind?

• If this becomes manifested, how will I use it to serve others and give back to the same life force that allows me to breath.

The universe sees all its people, it sees the hurt, the pain, the sadness, the hate, the emotional turmoil and sickness. The universe is looking for people to step up and help correct this error, I don't think it's really that concerned with creating a new and improved Ice Cream Scooper; even if it does have a digital temperature display. :)

I'm not saying the universes wouldn't support your new invention, what I'm saying is to raise your level of awareness and see the genuine and sincere needs of our global or local community. Find a need that serves a higher purpose than your ego self, and don't cut yourself short; universal force is more powerful than you can imagine, and its just waiting for people who want to take part in this cycle of give and receive.

Our society, needs you. You are unique, and within you are seeds of infinity. Life is about purpose and meaning, don't sell yourself short because some institution or individual says you have to partake in the mundane routine the rest of your life. Break Out! Discover what it is holding you back and overcome it. Take risks, remove the attachments you have to “comfortable living,” and explore who you truly are.

If your sitting in an office cubicle, and know to your core there is something burning inside you wanting to break out, what the hell are you doing! Who's saying that this is what you have to do with your life, you and I both know there is so much more out there for you, beyond what anybody else thinks is good for you. Who cares what other people think, damn it! Live your own life, discover your own world. Get over this idea that ducks have to be in a row.

Whoa... I better calm down here, or I might really start going off.

Conclusion:

Are you manifesting on purpose? The universe is your side kick, not next to you, but inside you – with you, you are one. Work with the universe to create a better world, not to create a meaningless existence. The meaning you are searching for, is not in a thing, it is in you. It is time we overcome these selfish ideas and thoughts that suggest we are separate. It is time we move forward and actually live a life that has purpose.

What meaning and purpose, does what you do right now really have. Is it making our world a better place, or are you manipulating others so you can pay your mortgage; sounds like separation to me. Are you mooching off the financial system and not making any real contribution, sounds like separation there too. Are you ignoring an inner call that says, “lets make something happen.”

Your life, is your responsibility. Recognize your existence as part of a bigger plan, one that goes beyond your ego, you will begin to see opportunities you never thought existed. Doors will open that were once thought to be welded shut. Truly understand... You are Amazing, as you go forth, don't let anyone convince you otherwise... not even your self.
